South Portico of the White House is painted in intricate detail on this American grown and made cherry wooden box. Under the lid is an area for an inscription or greeting. The White House House was designed by Irish-born James Hoban and completed in 1800. It is designed in the neoclassical style. It has been the residence of every president since John Adams. As we paint each box individually we try to honor the integrity of the architecture of this beautiful building.
