Washington montage boxes are hand painted in great detail showing the central building of either the Capital or the White House. Smaller scenes of museums and monuments are painted around the frame. Hand painted in sepia tones creating a detailed but monochromatic effect. Under the lid are standard titles; however we can easily ad you own inscription. This box is of American grown hardwood from Minnesota specially made for McLaughlin Glazeware. The top of the box is porcelain painted and fired to create a permanent surface. Mclaughlin Glazeware will paint your unique design on this box if you wish. The size of the box is perfect for holding gold balls, stationary or those items that need a special home.
